Quality Models

Here are the main stages for the research part of the Squale project:

• Mid-2009: first version of a comprehensive quality model
  • Released!
• Q1-2010: first version of the technico-economical model
• Q3-2010: final versions of both models, usable in Squale application

Squale Application

For the upcoming releases, we focus mainly on these aspects:

• Support for a large set of languages
  • PHP, .NET, Flex and others will certainly be coming next
• Increase the set of third-party technologies used to provide Squale with raw quality data
• UI improvements
  • Advanced visualizations optimized for practice analysis
  • Link with code source thanks to external repository browsers
  • Higher level of aggregation (for instance, based on application/project tags)
• Advanced quality-grid functionalities
  • Tool to quickly compute quality marks when tuning a quality grid
  • Possibility to recompute existing audits when a new quality grid is available
